Abstract

This specification defines a set of classes and instances that structure information about religions and beliefs.

Status of this Document

This document is a proprosal based on some initial discussions at the LODLAM meeting in San Francisco and the email exchanges that followed. It is expected to change around the core of instances that are allready in existence.

1 Introduction

This project was created as a result of some of the data and modeling problems encountered in the Muninn WW1 Project with respects to the treatment of religious affiliation, beliefs and burial rites.

Currently, this ontology provides placeholder instances uri for religions encountered within the archives and is incomplete.
